  2. 2. Brush Tool<br />The Brush Tool draws brush like strokes, as if you were painting.<br />
  3. 3. Brush Tool options/Modifiers<br />Fill color- color of the brush<br />Brush Size<br />Brush Shape<br />Lock Fill –allows you to apply a gradient or bitmap fill consistently across multiple items.<br />
  4. 4. Brush Modes<br />Paint Normal –used to paint the fill color anywhere you move the Brush tool with the mouse button pressed.<br />Paint Fills –used to paint only fill colors.<br />
  5. 5. Brush Modes<br />Paint Behind –use this option if you only want to paint an area underneath artwork already placed on the stage.<br />Paint Selection –this option allows the Brush tool to paint only areas that have been selected.<br />
  6. 6. Brush Modes<br />Paint Inside –this allows the brush to paint only in the interior section of the artwork.<br />
  7. 7. Using the Brush tool<br />Select the Brush tool<br />Click the Brush Mode modifier and choose a painting mode.<br />Choose a brush size and shape.<br />Drag on the Stage use Shift-grad to constrain brush strokes to horizontal and vertical directions.<br />
