Introduction The control of plaque accumulation on teeth surface→ fundamental for the prevention of oral pathology Chlorhexidine(CHX) :- one of the most used oral antimicrobial agents- shows good substantivity- high(0.2% or more) concentration → bactericidal- low concentration → reduce the bacterial metabolism 0.12 and 0.2% CHX mouthwashes→ useful in the reduction of plaque & gingival index
  3. 3. AimTo evaluate the effect of mouthrinses containing( 0.05% chlorhexidine + 0.05% fluoride) solutionon early dental plaque regrowth
  4. 4. Sample size & randomization 30 periodontally healthy subjects 15 used test product , the other used 15 placebo topical antimicrobial treatment within 4weeks beforebeginning the study Full-mouth bleeding score(FMBS%)Full-mouth plaque score(FMPS%)measured at baseline evaluation
