    The four largest ethnic minority groups together included more than 1,2 million people as of 1 January 2007. The Morrocan group grew most rapidly by about 6,000, followed by the Turkish group which grew more than 4,000.The strongest representations of Turks, in terms of numbers, is in the four major cities, particularly Rotterdam. Moroccans and Surinames live mainly in Amsterdam and Utrecht.

    Decrease in number of group in Somalia -> GB -> opportunity for obtaining work and retaining their own identities. Chinese group increased by nearly 400. Eastern Europe is increasing rapidly (former Sovet Union, Poland, Hungary) There are proporitionately fewer elderly people and more youngsters among the ethnic minorities.

    We expected the Islamitic woman to have difficulties in learning how to work with the computer. During classes we have seen that they easily adjust. Computer skills increase rapidly during classes.
