Vorstellungen – Introductions<br />For this task you will need to prepare and present a short oral introducing yourself to the class.<br />You will need to include the following information IN GERMAN:<br /><ul><li>A greeting - Things you like
How you are feeling - A farewell</li></ul>You can also, if you like, bring in two items that represent things you like doing to talk about (in English!)<br />NB: If you want an ‘A’ or ‘B’ for this assignment, you will need to use vocabulary from other chapters (e.g. Chapter 3 and beyond)<br />You will also be assessed on your German pronunciation so practice over and over!<br />
Some hints for the oral presentation:<br />Try to memorise your work – this shows excellent Personal Learning skills.<br />Get your pronunciation right – use the Learning Button and online dictionaries to help you.<br />Ensure you have perfected the basics (spelling and pronunciation). Then you can try to incorporate some more challenging language.<br />Use your computer (Word, PowerPoint etc.) to complete the good copy of your script – your presentation skills will be assessed!<br />
Elements for this LA task:(What you need to submit to the LA office)<br />A copy of your script (but make a copy for yourself too – you’ll need it to present!)<br />The assignment sheet with the reflection section completed<br />Your Deutsch exercise book (which will have your draft written in it)<br />The student self-rating filled out on the rubric and coversheet<br />
