The mission for beGLOBAL was to open a discussion about Global Entrepreneurship and Investing that would benefit entrepreneurs and investors, enlighten perceptions, and encourage startup success on a global scale.
Although, the event had a Korean theme, the discussions applied equally to entrepreneurs from any geography and clearly demonstrated that we are living in times that require a broader view, and an understanding of innovation in every corner of the globe in order to achieve success.

    • Our Mission – Why beGLOBAL? We realized that Silicon Valley doesn’t care who you are or where you are from, but only judges you on the quality of your startup (as it should be). Through beGLOBAL we wanted to open a discussion about Global Entrepreneurship that would benefit entrepreneurs and investors, enlighten perceptions, and encourage success on a global scale. We are proud to say that while there is much still to do, we achieved our mission, and look forward to building a great future through collaboration. We invite you to join us in this great mission.

    • Feedback from Entrepreneurs We had a great chance to speak with Silicon Valley investors at beGLOBAL. The conference helped us plan our global strategy. The main benefit of beGLOBAL was engaging with potential customers in the USA. We are now planning to open our US office. We applied to Plug&Play, RocketPunch, and Runway at beGLBOAL. The conference opened opportunities we could not imagine before. We also spoke with PandoDaily and other Silicon Valley media about partnerships. We had a great discussion with [Company] about investment. beGLOBAL really Helped to power our global growth. Also we had great media coverage with OATV. Through beGlobal, Smile Family was able to meet with many VCs in the valley and get connected to many entrepreneurs in the area relevant to their busines s. By facilitating the business to enter the US market sooner and get involved with the right people earlier, an event like beGlobal will continue to function as an important gateway for Korean companies to reach the global audience in th e future.
