  • 2.  Part of the Lahti Region Educational Consortium, which is an educational organization established by the city of Lahti and 13 municipalities surrounding it. The consortium comprises of Salpaus Further Education, Lahti Polytechnic and Lahti Employment and Rehabilitation of the disabled. Every year around 20 000 students of which around 13 000 in adult education Around 850 employees
  • 3.  Part of the Salpaus Further Education Specializes in international co-operation, international communication and cross- cultural aspects Offers language training in 14 different languages
  • 4.  Migrant training includes: ◦ Preparatory training for young adults, who want to embark an vocational training ◦ Integrational training for adult migrants ◦ Workshop training ◦ Preparatory training for adults, who want to apply for an apprenticeship ◦ Integration training / Finnish language courses for working adults (evening courses) 15 Finnish teachers and 5 counseling teachers in migrant training
