  • 1. Multi-mission Radio Direction Finding Receiver Goals of the project: Development of a lightweight, man portable, radio direction finder equipment (RDF) which is able to determine the direction of arrival (DOA) of communication radio signals in HF/VHF/UHF band. Basic components: Full-functional HF/VHF/UHF scanning and monitoring receiver Built-in bearing processor Direction-Finding (DF) capability Antenna signal processor with removable antenna elements for full functional direction finding antenna array Basic technical parameters: HF/VHF/UHF scanning/monitoring receiver with built-in bearing processor built- 1.5-3000MHz frequency coverage receiver CW/LSB/USB/AM/FM demodulators with different bandwidth Frequency and memory scan functionality Built-in bearing processor with 360° coverage and 1° resolution Different antenna systems for different missions Antenna signal processor with 8 self-supporting antenna input self- VHF DF antenna for 100-450MHz 100- UHF DF antenna for 350-1200MHz 350- Operation examples: man portable, mobile, fix site, semi mobile examples: Remote control and map-ware based visualization mapVisualization of the measured bearings on the digital map is based on the GPS measured positions of the DF receivers MapPoint and MapInfo are supported for mapmapware based mission design and evaluation Remote control software for up to 4 DF receiver www.sagax.hu Example measurement results on digital map Rev. 080210 Sagax, Ltd.
