Stop using European techniques developed for European farms (Gittens 2002) Develop comparative advantage in new crop production, to increase trade exports in the future.

  6. 6. Recommendation - Sustainable Irrigation Irrigation Efficiency: Do not over fertilise crops. Reduce evaporation in fields. Time planting to take greatest advantage of natural precipitation. Using micro-irrigation system (drip and spray: above ground, below ground).
