  13. 13. What next?• Now that we looked at the work of pop artist Jim Dine we can notice his symbolic themes is the heart.• His hearts do not look like the heart on a valentine card. – What did he do to make his hearts unique? – color varieties, contrast and painting style
  14. 14. Our Objective (goal)• We will create a heart composition that shows color contrast and no outlines• Then if the contrast is not clear enough, we will add value contrast with oil pastel.
