Love Others <ul><li>The 2 nd Greatest Commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself” </li></ul><ul><li>10 Commandments: 1 You shall have no other gods before me, 2 No idols, 3 You shall not misuse the name of the Lord, 4 Remember the Sabbath &amp; keep it Holy , 5 Honor your mother &amp; father, 6 Do not murder, 7 Do not commit adultery, 8 Do not steal, 9 Do not lie, 10 Do not covet. (Ex 20) </li></ul><ul><li>Love God &amp; Love People </li></ul>

Love Christians <ul><li>I Jn 1:7-12 </li></ul><ul><li>Verse 9 God not only loved us, he put His love into action which teaches us that if we love others, our actions should show it. </li></ul><ul><li>Vs 12 “but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.” </li></ul><ul><li>This is usually not difficult, love other Christians. </li></ul>

Loving Non-Christians <ul><li>Why should we love the unsaved? </li></ul><ul><li>Reason #1: We used to be “the unsaved.” </li></ul><ul><li>Reason #2: Command Romans 13:8-10 </li></ul><ul><li>Christ loved us before we loved Him and now that we’re saved, we need to pass this love onto others. </li></ul>

Small Group Discussion <ul><li>Who do you have the most trouble loving (God, fellow Christians, the unsaved) &amp; why? </li></ul><ul><li>How can we love “our neighbor” as ourself? </li></ul><ul><li>Take the concept of James 4 “faith without works is dead” and the truth that we are to love God &amp; love people and share how you are doing at putting your faith into action by loving God and people.
