AKA What Stuffed Animals Do at Night

T’was after closing at theLibrary and all through thestacks not one creature wasstirring not even thepaperbacks.

When out in the library therearose such a clatter that Isprang from my office to seewhat was the matter!

When what to my amazed eyes did appear butWillis, Coco, Sweety Pie, andMonster out of their sleeping gear!

Polly was riding our bees!

And Kitty was copying his rear.

Fluffy, Smurfette, Curly, andPony were riding the bookcarts.

And Draggy-Draggy was popping up out of the library’s gear.

Kanga, Peanut, Woody, Tiny, and Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes were having a storytime.

And Spot, Suzy, and Brains were having a snack.

And Willis was even hiding out in the back!

After all these shenanigansthey were too tired to move so I put them back to bed while bidding them adieu.

And I heard Willis exclaim as I walked out of sight “We should do this again at the library another night!”
