  • Web 2.0 Tools • RSS is a tool that allows subscribers to push content at them from podcasts, blogs, wikis, news services, etc. • Blogs are tools for users to create and share content, often as personal diaries, in which they can control access, the possibility for commentary, and editing. • Wikis are tools for creating content collaboratively, making possible the social validation of knowledge. • Resource Sharing Tools include: – Photo Sharing, – Social Bookmarking – File Sharing • Mashups are tools that combine two web 2.0 tools into one, such as combining Google maps with occurrences of crime in a neighborhood. • Social Network Analysis is a tool that analyzes information flows in an organization or on the web.
