  • 2. Evaluation Protocol
    • Reflective conversation will take place at the Post Conference.
    POST-CONFERENCE
    • The teacher will provide a lesson plan that includes four QSAC required elements:
    • 1. Objective
    • 2. Core Curriculum State Standards
    • 3. Activities
    • 4. Assessments
    LESSON PLANS
    • Before each scheduled observation, the Observer will schedule a pre-conference with the teacher. This is required before all observations.
    • The Pre-conference will be a face-to-face interaction.
    • The duration of these meetings may vary.
    • The teacher will provide a lesson plan.
    • The pre-conference date will be recorded on the observation form.
    PRE-CONFERENCE
  • 3. Observation Template
  • 4. New Language
    • Comment - A statement of fact or opinion that expresses the supervisor’s personal reaction or attitude toward an observed action by a Professional staff member. There is no follow-up action required by the Professional staff member.
    • Suggestion – Written and/or verbal communication in which an idea is presented by the Supervisor to the Professional staff member for consideration. A suggestion is an invitation to further dialogue.
    • Recommendation - An identified concern or deficiency in the Professional staff member’s performance coupled with a suggested specific course of action the staff member should take to address the concern or deficiency.
