Grow on dry side but do not allow plants to wilt. Plants grow slowly when temperature is below 64°F (18°C). Do not pinch plants as pinching will only delay flowering and make the plant habit unattractive. Serenita varieties are naturally more compact than Serena and require less PGR.

  • Understanding the ProcessThe old Fuseables: To put 4 seeds in the original MPL, we had to request 4 to 6 seeds. Then, within pellets, there could be between 2 and 10 seeds to deliver the average of 4 to 6 seeds. Variation from one pellet to another was huge. Our Precision Multi-Seed Pellets assure more accuracy as each component is sown into the tray in the quantities required: If we want 4 seeds, we get 4 seeds at least 90% of the time. Because some seed can skip in sowing from one cell to another, a few pellets may have 2, 3 or 5 seeds. However, the variation is considerably smaller. In addition, each component is marked with its own colour. We can visually assert that all components are present in the pellet.Equipment needed to sow easily:Drum Seeder size: 30Hole size: 30/1000 in. or 20/1000 in. depending on vacuum levelVacuum setting: 10 to 15 HG (requires a 1.5 Horse Power pump)Dust Blow Off: 12 psiAir Curtain: 4 to 6 psiSeed Blow Off: < 1 psi (barely on) Fuseables Crop TimesFollow crop times according to the latest flowering component. Flowering range can vary (from 5 to 12 days) depending on mix, season and region.
  • NOTE FOR SUNNY DAY: 105 plug or larger is essential due to the Cool Wave component.

Non-uniform germination occurs at lower temperatures. Avoid germination temperatures in excess of 85°F/29°C.Stage 1 moisture level = 5.Need not cover seed if relative humidity is uniformly high.Stages 2 to 4: Reduce temperature to 70 to 74°F/21 to 23°C.Stages 2 to 4: Provide moisture from level 3 to 5, avoid excess moisture or wilt.Stages 2 to 4: Fertigate with a CLF (constant liquid feed) at a moderate rate, approximately 65 to 75 ppm. Provide P at 8 to 10 ppm constantly.Plugs will finish in 5 to 6 weeks as 288 and 6 to 7 weeks as 128.PGRs and negative DIF are effective to reduce stretch if warranted. Refer to online culture information for details. Growing On to FinishFinishing Divine requires lower fertilizer rates to avoid lushness, lack of flowers and stretching. A CLF at moderate rates of of 75 to 125 ppm is suggested. Use lower rates when ADT (average daily temperature) is lower and higher rates when ADT is higher.Use a constant feed of P at 12 to 15 ppm.Keep pH above 5.8. Keep EC below 1mS/cm and sodium below 50 ppm.Cycle moisture from level 2 to 4, avoiding excess moisture and wilt. Provide high light at a DLI of 10 moles/m2/day. 306 packs will finish in 6 to 7 weeks at 74°F/23°C. PGRs and negative DIF are effective to reduce stretch if warranted. Refer to online culture information for details. Refer to the Divine Series New Guinea Impatiens Grower Facts at panamseed.com for detailed culture information. Crop time is dependent upon time of year, temperature, use of supplemental lighting and greenhouse conditions. As a general guide, allow approximately 16 weeks from transplant to harvest for early transplants and approximately 13 weeks for mid to late transplants. Greenhouse-grown Lisianthus that are growing in full sun will make shorter stems then plantings that are grown under shade. Lisianthus react to day length – the longer the days are, the shorter the stems will be. In zones where we have daylengths longer then 14 hours, shading will be helpful on very sunny days.
