• 12/18 divided by 6/6 = 72/108. If they learn this method when you try to teach division of fractions later they are going to be confused. It really should be (12 divided by 6)/(18 divided by 6). or 12/18 = (2*6)/(3*6) = (2/3)*(6/6) = (2/3)*1 = 2/3.
