    • INTERNET AND MULTIMEDIA RESOURCESSTUDENT SELF-REFLECTION ON EVIDENCE FOR ELEMENT 1Name: Elizabeth Castillo Date:Title of work/product: Describe evaluation criteria used tocritically analyze the content of Web pages. In this unit was about how to evaluate web sites and plagiarism. Ithelps audiences to get true information and also present information. I learnedfrom this unit that useful webs sited have some command in the URLdirection as .com, .gov, .edu, and so on. Also, those pages have a lot of linksto provide if the information is true. Moreover, when you evaluate web sitesyou should look for author address to look for his or her help or provide herinformation. Also, I learned from this unit that we must site authorswhen we copy information from books and web sites. In otherscountries if you make plagiarism you will go to the jail. Therefore, Ilearned to site web pages. People around the world believe thatplagiarism as copying anothers work, or ideas can provokesproblems, so it is true if you do not site those ideas or texts you take, you can get in trouble. I included it because it provides what I know. Also, it provides that Ireally worked in this unit content. On the other hand, “Describe evaluationcriteria used to critically analyze the content of Web pages.” Was theobjective from this unit, so it was developed by us. Next time, I wouldresearch more about evaluating webs sites, and I would make some organizergraphics in PPT to remember it. 12

As a result, I have in my diigo account30 pages that I will use in the future teaching those subjects. Iinclude this piece because it provides my effort doing this kind ofjobs, also it is my evidence that I was in class participation. “Identifyand bookmark free online journals and Web sites about languageskills, grammar, functions, pronunciation and other linguistic andmethodological aspects of English language learning and teaching.” It was the objective of this unit that we did. Next time, I would liketo add more web sites that will help me to improve my writingbecause I am not good at writing, but I am good at using technology. 14

    • INTERNET AND MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES TUDENT SELF-REFLECTION ON EVIDENCE FOR ELEMENT 3Name: Elizabeth CastilloTitle of work/product: Teaching the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing using web resources. This unit includes writing, writing, reading, and listeningstages that teacher should know to develop in their students thoseskills that are very important when you are learning a new language, but the most important thing that called my attention was the writingstages and the dyslexia problem that some students present, soparents and teachers should take an special care of them. I includethis piece because it provides my effort doing this kind of jobs, alsoit is my evidence that I was in class participation. “Developtechnology enhanced lesson plans using Internet resources topromote authentic language learning and assessment of the EFLlearner’s communicative competence.” It was the objective of thisunit that we did. Next time, I would like to put in practice thosestages for each skill and also to research more about dyslexiaproblems. 17
    • Evidence for Element 3 INTERNET AND MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES TUDENT SELF-REFLECTION ON EVIDENCE FOR ELEMENT 3Name: Elizabeth CastilloTitle of work/product: LESSON PLANNING. • Evidence for Element 4 Blogs in EducationName: Elizabeth Castillo1. How would you define the term "blog"? A blog is a free tool to students and people who would like to share information, and facts. Besides, it allows to add videos, pictures, gifs, calendars, and so on, sostudents can explain topics using blogs as an online tool. Therefore, students cando writing homework and, receive feedback from other pupils.2. What types of blogs have you heard about? I have heard that there are three types of blogs. First, the tutor blog. It is forprofessors who would like to create forum discussion, so pupils give comments. Also, teachers being able to write to the main part. Besides, teacher will guideonline students to do homeworks. Second, the class blog. It allows students tointeract in a virtual class. Students can do collaboratives works. Also, it could useas a free forum discussion of any topic in which students can add pictures, videos, web pages addresses, and so on. So, it could be use as a virtual space to teachwriting and reading class. Finally, the learner blog, it is by individual learners orsmall group of pupils who like to learn writing and reading subjects. Also, it can beused to do journals for writing practice without spend a lot of paper and save ourplanet to the global warming. In conclusion, those kinds of blogs are good todevelop a foreign language by writing and reading skills.3. What is one example of how YOU would use blogs in your EFL classroom?for this question you need to explain three things: the objective(s) of yourblog (use the ABCD Method), the students level, and how you expect toevaluate the effectiveness of your blog. I would use to teach writing and reading skill in order to make my studentsinteract.Objetive: Having studied vocabulary related animals, students of the five level ofElementary School from 10 to 11 years old will be able to discuss about animalsaround the world by writing some animals´ traits in an online activity. This objectiveis not clear. Please check the information about the ABCD method to write lessonobjectives.Students level: Elementary: 10 to 11 years oldFirst.- I would ask my students create a blog in this sitehttps://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=blogger&passive=1209600&continue=http://www.blogger.com/home&followup=http://www.blogger.com/home&ltmpl=start 19
    • Second.- I would ask them to do a paragraph about animals features.Next..- I would ask them to give some comments to their classmatesFinally.- I will ask them to add pictures, charts, videos to reinforce the previoustopic in the writing paragraph. This assignment is not complete. How are you going to evaluate yourstudents’ participation in the blog. You should also improve your language skills since there are very basic grammarmistakes. Finally, you need to follow instructions. You had to write a title for thisdocument, but you haven’t done it.Keep working hard! 20
