    • Where it Originated
      Is also known as Football in different parts of the world.
      Originated (in its current form) from England in 1800’s
      The Chinese played “football” games that dated back to 3000’s
      Ancient Greeks and Romans used football games to sharpen warriors for battle.
    • How to Play Soccer
      In the game of soccer, there are many different things one must learn.
      Some of the key concepts of soccer are:
      Kicking
      Passing
      Throw-in
      Goal Keeping
    • Kicking
      Free Kick
      Indirect Free Kick
      Penalty Kick
      Goal Kick
      Corner Kick
      Bicycle or The over Head Kick
      Instep Kick
    • Passing
      Push Pass
      Wall Pass
      Chip Pass
      Backward Pass
      Passing into Space
    • Throw-ins and Goal Keeping
      Never throw or kick the ball back to your teammates unless they are open and ready for the ball.
      Throw the ball low so it is easier for your teammate
      Roll along the ground

      In the game of soccer, there are many rules and regulations. Some of the most important rules are:

      There are three different sizes of a soccer ball
      In early times, rubber had not yet been discovered, so the alternative to a soccer ball was anything from human skulls, to pig and cow bladders
      Soccer balls are usually black and white so they can be seen on the field
    • What is the World Cup?
      A soccer tournament held every four years between national soccer teams to determine a world champion
      The world cup will be played the summer of 2010 in South Africa.
