  4. 4. Photo-Latent Metal Catalyst... why?1. Fast curing of applied 2K-PUR coating at RT 2. Long pot-life, i.e. >>1hr. (ideally up to 6hrs.)  Reduced energy consumption:  Reduced paint waste RT vs. 60-80°C  More flexible process timing – Address issue of heating very large objects, heat-sensitive parts, or heavy metal structures 3. Organotin free compound  Increased through-put – Short time to dust-free – Short time to handling/moving of coated object Proposed Solution = non-Sn metal catalyst triggered by UV-light, thus activated at RT + when desired (“cure-on-demand”). 4
