5. O QUE É BIOLOGIA?
• do grego Bíos = Vida
+
Lógos = estudo
Biologia = estudo da vida
• do latim Vita = diversos significados!!!!
o o espaço de tempo entre o momento da concepção e a morte;
o o processo em curso do qual os seres vivos são uma parte;
o a condição de uma entidade que nasceu e ainda não morreu;

decompor a matéria orgânica (catabolismo)

13. DIVISÕES/ÁREAS DE ESTUDO DA BIOLOGIA
• Morfologia estuda a
forma/estrutura dos seres vivos. É
subdividida em:
o Citologia estuda a estrutura da
célula e seu funcionamento
o Histologia estuda a estrutura dos
tecidos e seu funcionamento
o Anatomia estuda a estrutura dos
órgãos
• Embriologia estuda a formação e
desenvolvimento dos embriões
• Taxonomia procura agrupar os seres
vivos de acordo com suas semelhanças
• Fisiologia estuda o funcionamento
de células, órgãos, sistemas e tecidos
• Genética estuda a herança através
da hereditariedade e também os
mecanismos de sua transmissão
Evolução estuda a modificação que
os seres vivos sofreram no decorrer do
tempo e o porquê que elas ocorreram
• Paleontologia estuda fóssil e
impressões deixados pelos seres que
habitaram a Terra num passado remoto
• Ecologia estuda as relações dos seres
vivos entre si e com o meio
• Microbiologia estuda as bactérias e
microoganismos 13

This template can be used as a starter file to give updates for project milestones.SectionsSections can help to organize your slides or facilitate collaboration between multiple authors. On the Home tab, under Slides, click Section, and then click Add Section.NotesUse the Notes pane for delivery notes or to provide additional details for the audience. You can see these notes in Presenter View during your presentation. Keep in mind the font size (important for accessibility, visibility, videotaping, and online production)Coordinated colors Pay particular attention to the graphs, charts, and text boxes.Consider that attendees will print in black and white or grayscale. Run a test print to make sure your colors work when printed in pure black and white and grayscale.Graphics, tables, and graphsKeep it simple: If possible, use consistent, non-distracting styles and colors.Label all graphs and tables.
* If any of these issues caused a schedule delay or need to be discussed further, include details in next slide.
Duplicate this slide as necessary if there is more than one issue.This and related slides can be moved to the appendix or hidden if necessary.

What are the dependencies that affect the timeline, cost, and output of this project?
Prepare slides for the appendix in the event that more details or supplemental slides are needed. The appendix is also useful if the presentation is distributed later.
