This work is anaim to explore the transcendental space from the real world into another world or another mental space. “The Paradise room in gonzoland” is a made up mental and physical space for people to let go of pre-conceived ideas of their lives, histories, thoughts andperceptions and to dive into another space to rediscover something they never knew or to learn something they have forgotten. Barrie J Davies________________________________________________________________________Barrie J Davies (1977) is a British artist born in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, Wales.He has graduated from Southampton institute with a fine art degree in 2000 and completedhis masters Degree in Fine Art at the University of Wales institute Cardiff in 2004.He has exhibited internationally and nationally for over ten years and has made various playfulartworks in painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, print making, performance, video and installation.His surreal artworks have anarchically explored success, money, glamour, love, sex and humour inToday’s society and his work is in various private and public collections internationally.He has recently shown work at the CRG gallery in New York and in other exhibitions in London, Milan, Alaska and Indonesia.Barrie J Davies is works and lives in Cardiff Wales and is represented by Project Ten, Gallery 407 London and editions Martin.
