Once upon a time, in a city calledBarcelona, there was a boy called Joan Miró.He loved to paint animals:birds, dogs, cats, fish…He liked their eyes, because through them hecould see if they were happy or sad. So hepainted all kind of eyes: big, small, opened, closed, blue, yellow… 2
He liked to draw fantastic animals: hemade them more beautiful, with three tails, five eyes, seven legs or eight ears!!!!Animals liked Joan´s pictures so theydecided to stay there. They could fly, run, jump and play in this fantastic world!!! 4
He loved nature, so he called the flowers, the leaves, the treesand the insects,so they could be in his fantastic world. 6
He coloured nature with his favourite colours: Yellow Blue Red Green Orange
One day, he took all the animals andthe insects to Paris. They climbedup the Eiffel towerand they were so high that theycould talk to the stars, the moon, the sunand to all the planets!!! 9
So the stars, the moon, the sun and the planet went to livewith the animals and the insects. They all lived together in the Earth with men and womenand, of course, with children, in Miro´s paintings.
