What am I doing?

I don’t know. It’s a good question really

I am 42 years old. I have no regrets. I am still in love with my wife

And besotted, totally, with my children

But some days I feel as though I am missing something

I am successful by many measures

And I have my health

Still though, some days, something is … I don’t know exactly …

… something feels wrong somehow

Strange circles are turning in my mind.

It’s as if I envision forward motion

But then I enter a circle, and go round and round

I’m not sure why

Or if it really matters
