      • A lack of accessible and down-to-earth information about the EU.
      • Minimal public discussion on EU policies and what role they play in our everyday lives.
      • Belief that most of what is going wrong in the country is due to EU membership.

      • 175 000 first time Latvian voters between 18-23 years old will be casting their votes in the EP elections in June 2009 .
      • Central statistics agency
      • Establish a platform that offers accessible information on EU issues.
      • Use this platform and other media options at our disposal to create a public discussion forum on current EU issues .
      • Address and involve primarily publicly active youths and first time EP voters.
      • Promote responsibility through participation.

      • Regularly and relevantly address the 50 000 you th viewers (15-30) of the TV programme Viss notiek .
      • Encourage them to gain more information about the EU and the EP
      • Give them a platform where to make their voice heard on current issues.
      • Actively involve an audience of at least 5000 youths in the 18-25 age group over a 10 month period on the website.
      Goals
      • Use Web 2.0 principle and available TV and internet media to both address and involve our target audience.
      • Clearly link participation and content creation in both TV and internet.
      • Effectively cross promote the TV programme Viss notiek , the website vissnotiek.lv and the Peoples Parliament website tauta.vissnotiek.lv
