RSS allows you to control the content of the web… the web comes to you instead of you going to the web..
You can screen information from many sources much faster..skip the boring, get to the good stuff!

RSS is a standard format to label and organize information from newest to oldest.
It allows content to be updated cleanly, and consistently.
It allows for content to be delivered to you via an RSS feed

Terms of Unimportance?!?
RSS Feed : A list of notifications of new and updated information from a website/blog. Contains header,date, and the informational content.
Organizes the information so that it can be delivered to you
It is how you subscribe to the information on the website/blog

Subscribe to an RSS Feed : This is the process of adding the feed to your feed reader or aggregator
Feed Reader / Aggregator : This is the software which allows you to add, delete, and read the feeds to which you subscribe. This software can be web based or desktop software.
