  • 9. Components of Provisioning Framework OMS receives order request for new and existing customers from web or TV Order Management portal. The order status is managed by OMS Orchestration Engine The session management and the process flow is managed by this component The transformation engine converts and maps the input and output messages Transformation Engine of orchestration engine into the required format The catalog stores the information of the list of services/systems which are to Service Catalog be updated as part of the provisioning of the subscribed service/package/product The identity management component stores the secondary credentials required Identity Manager to connect to the various backend systems The business logic plug in components are part of the orchestration engine but Business Logic Plug-ins specific to the type of the service. In this case for all IPTV provisioning the IPTV business logic plug in is used Routing engine and The routing engine based on the request and response schema sends the Adapters message to the appropriate system using the appropriate adapter/channel Confidential © Tech Mahindra 2009 11/07/2009 9
