Most of people in many countries speak English for communicating with other people who are foreigners. I chose this topic for my academic paper because I wanted to write about the history of English, the different types of teaching, examples of English schools (International School, Bilingual School, English Program, and Mini English Program), why English is used in many countries, and how to improve English skills. Every country, every area, every community has a different language that they have own language. But many countries use English as a second language (ESL), which is a language that is learned after the first language or mother tongue. EFL is a foreign language which is not spoken in daily life by the people of a certain place. For example: English is a foreign language in Thailand.
