    • Lesson Goals  Know how to define the workflow for a project  Understand stages of audio and image editing  Be able to plan and edit an audio and image file
    • Know how to define a workflow Be able to edit media files Workflow  The workflow is the sequence of activities you will need to complete to carry out a project.  A workflow is much more detailed than a typical plan of activities as it lists each individual stage involved.  The differences between a plan of activities and workflow are:   Plan – Tells you what to do Workflow – Lists how to do it #workflow #editing
    • Know how to define a workflow Be able to edit media files Editing Files  You have been asked to edit the following digital media files: Audio File   Original File .wav 16 seconds Requirements .mp3 6 seconds Remove silence at beginning and end of file Image File   Original File .tiff 3000x4000 Requirements .jpg 600x160 Create a banner from centre of the image file Video File   Original File .avi 20 seconds Requirements .mpeg 12 seconds 320x240pixels Cut 8 seconds of poor footage from the middle
    • Know how to define a workflow Be able to edit media files Editing Audio  Watch the audio editing demonstration and make notes on how to edit the original file to meet the requirements: Original .wav 16 seconds Edited 6 seconds .mp3 #workflow #editing
