Tips For Designing Great Landing Pages

Keep your page simple

Keep your content within 1-2 scrollable pages

Keep forms small. More than 3 fields are going to be painful. Avoid complicated validation of fields.

Highlight different text sections so that they are readable.

Use standard conventions. A link must look like a link and so on.

Avoid a heavy page. This will affect loading times. We recommend 1 image or 1 RSS feed per page

Design a page that reflects your brand identity to avoid confusion.

Do not give WEB links. They might not work on a phone

Do not create links to heavy media like MP3s or MP4s unless absolutely required.

Do not clutter your page.

Arrange your links in a Row format..Given the form size of most phones, this is the most usable arrangement.

Try not to replicate what is on the web on the mobile web. You’re designing for a mobile phone and this calls for extremely conservative approach given the limited real estate.
