  • Golden Pheasant
  •  The Golden Pheasant or "ChinesePheasant", (Chrysolophus pictus) is a gamebird of the order Galliformes (gallinaceousbirds) and the family Phasianidae. It is nativeto forests in mountainous areas ofwestern China, but feral populations havebeen established in the United Kingdom andelsewhere. In England they may be foundin East Anglia in the dense forest landscapeof the Breckland. The adult male is 90–105 cm in length, its tailaccounting for two-thirds of the total length. Itis unmistakable with its golden crest andrump and bright red body.
  • The Bali Bird of Paradise
  •  The Greater Bird-of-paradise (Paradisaea apoda) is a Bird-of-paradise in the genus Paradisaea Carolus Linnaeus namedthe species Paradisaea apoda, or"legless bird-of-paradise", because earlytrade-skins to reach Europe wereprepared without feet by natives; this ledto the misconception that these birdswere beautiful visitors from paradise thatwere kept aloft by their plumes andnever touched the earth until death.
  •  The Rainbow Lorikeet, (Trichoglossushaematodus) is a speciesof Australasian parrot found in Australia,eastern Indonesia (Maluku and WesternNew Guinea), Papua New Guinea, NewCaledonia, SolomonIslands and Vanuatu. In Australia, it iscommon along the eastern seaboard,from Queensland to South Australia andnorthwest Tasmania. Its habitatis rainforest, coastal bushand woodland areas. Rainbow Lorikeets are true parrots.
  • Orange-Bellied Parrot
  •  The Orange-bellied Parrot (Neophemachrysogaster) is a small broad-tailedparrot endemic to southern Australia, and oneof only two species of parrot which migrate.The adult male is distinguished by its brightgrass-green upperparts, yellow underpartsand orange belly patch. The adult female andjuvenile are duller green in colour. All birdshave a blue frontal band and blue outer wingfeathers. The diet consists of seeds andberries of small coastal grasses and shrubs. With only 36 wild birds known to be alive afterthe summer 2011/12 breeding season, it isregarded as a critically endangered species.
