  Agenda and Objectives
Today’s objectives are...
• We will answer some final questions about Act 1 and
  will find synonyms and antonyms to important words
  from Act 1.
• We will discover and discuss new vocabulary words
  for Romeo and Juliet, Act 2.
• We will make a prediction about what might happen
  in Romeo and Juliet: Act 2.
• We will read for understanding and will answer
  questions about what we read to show our
  comprehension.
• We will organize the characters we read about into 3
  groups: the Montagues, the Capulets, and Neither.
Act 1 Wrap Up:
• 15 minutes
• Act 1: answer questions about the
  details we read about in the 1st Act.
• Find the synonyms and antonyms for
  the words given from Act 1.
  • Synonym = same
  • Antonym = opposite, different
Act 2: Important Words
             • partner activity with dictionaries
                • present your word to the class
                • we will all record the definitions
