If you were to win [Insert a lottery win amount] from the lottery tomorrow what is the first thing you would do? [Get answers from the audience. Pick out the more humorous answers that you hear and repeat them to the audience as an ice-breaker] So much money, so little time! Let’s try something different.

Hand out 1 Dream Sheet per attendee; also hand out the lowest denomination of Avon “money.” This amount should be just enough to get a person to think about his/her immediate needs. Pretend that this is real money. If you had this amount in your hands today, what would you do? Write down your answers on your dream sheet. Who would like to share their answers? (ask 3 – 6 people to share their answers connect their emotional why when you have them share. Ask opened ended questions. e.g. What will you do on that vacation? How will you spend your time thee? Who will be going with you? Why do you want to take them?) Hand out the next larger denomination of Avon “money.” Amount should now be enough to get the prospect to think of a medium-term need or dream.

If you had THIS amount in your hands, what would you do? Again, write down your answers on your dream sheet. Who would like to share their answers? (ask 3 – 6 people to share their answers connect their emotional why when you have them share. Ask opened ended questions. e.g. What will you do on that vacation? How will you spend your time thee? Who will be going with you? Why will you take them?) Hand out highest value of Avon “money.” Amount will now be substantial. Because I am such a generous person, let me give you even more money. If you had THIS amount in your hands, what would you do? Again, write down your answers on a sheet of paper. Who would like to share their answers? [Generate as much enthusiasm as possible for each person’s big “dream”] Those 3 things you wrote down, ladies and gentlemen, are your dreams for the future. Take a look at them and take a look at the “money” I gave you. If tomorrow, you woke up and this money I just gave you was real, would you be doing the same thing you are today? OR….Would you pay off debt that has been keeping you from financial security? Would you take your family or friends on a trip? Set up an education fund for your children, or a retirement fund for yourself? Buy a new car? Or move into a place of your own? If that money was real, would you still have the same concerns about your future and the future for your children? Is it possible to enjoy financial freedom with unlimited earnings potential AND balance your life to spend time with those you love? Yes! Avon offers you that opportunity to achieve financial freedom with an unlimited earnings potential.
