  • Avanade Technology Vision 2014 The banking future shaped by technology • Interested in a new banking product, a customer uses a mobile app to find a local branch and schedule an appointment with their financial advisor. The advisor is immediately notified, accepts the meeting and begins to prepare for it, leveraging experts across the bank. • Leaving the bank, a customer walks up to the ATM, enters their pin and is authenticated with facial recognition as a second layer of security. Through a modern user interface, the customer withdraws money, buys movie tickets and clicks on ad about travel insurance, as she is planning an upcoming trip. • Away from the office, an advisor receives alerts from his highest value customers, including ATM withdrawals and branch visits. One of his customers has questions about her financial plan. The advisor is able to connect with the customer from the road using video conferencing technology. • A customer sees an interactive display in the airport and begins to play with it.
