  • 1. iPad/iPodTouch User GroupSure theres an app for everything but which app is best for your task? Join us in room 228every Wednesday between 3pm and 4pm to see what users recommend. If you knowsomeone who may be interested please invite them to join in.Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you own a device or just have questions aboutapps, work flow and processes. All you need to bring is a willingness to listen, learn, shareyour ipad/itouch experience with others…and have fun!Participants will demonstrate apps and workflows, share ideas, tips, and solutions based oniPad/iPodTouch. Transfer and synch files from your computer or the cloud, annotate pdf’s, preview and view many different file formats including video and audio, and encrypt and protect files, plus send files to other iPad apps. Your SolutionsHow can you manage zip files on the iPad or iPodTouch?Goodreader allows you to create zip folder and to unzip folders. If you know of another freeapp with the same functionality please tell us. TLTC Tip of the Week:Store  iTunes  media  on  a  portable  drive.    If    you  would  like  more  space  and  you  will  continue  to  use  iTunes  on  your  current  computer  do  the  following;    1  .  Connect  the  portable  drive  you  want  to  move  the  library  to.  2  .  Add  a  folder  called  iTunes.  Inside  that  folder  add  another  folder  called  “library”  or  any  name  you  like.  3.    Select  iTunes  -­‐  preferences  -­‐  advanced.  Make  sure  Keep  iTunes  media  file  organized  and  copy  to  ITunes  media  folders  are  checked.  3.  Click  the  change  button  next  to  iTunes  media  folder  location.  Select  the  portable  drive.  4.  Choose  file  -­‐  library  -­‐  organize  library.  Make  sure  consolidate  files  is  checked.  This  will  copy  your  iTunes  media  to  the  new  location.  5.  Verify  the  media  is  moved.  6.  Go  to  music  folder.  Delete  iTunes  media  (music)  folder  Step by step screen shots:http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_move_your_media_external_disk
