  • 1. iPad/iPodTouch User GroupSure theres an app for everything but which app is best for your task? Join us in room 228every Wednesday between 3pm and 4pm to see what users recommend. If you knowsomeone who may be interested please invite them to join in.Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you own a device or just have questions aboutapps, work flow and processes. All you need to bring is a willingness to listen, learn, shareyour ipad/itouch experience with others…and have fun!Participants will demonstrate apps and workflows, share ideas, tips, and solutions based oniPad/iPodTouch. Through sharing we will discover apps and tips that will enable us to use ourdevices expertly!PLEASE NOTE: A user group is NOT a workshop where TLTC demonstrates how to configureyour device, iTunes settings and download/synch apps. App DemosKaren will demonstrate image editing and photo album ceeation with the new iOS 5 iTouchupdate.Shari will demonstrate photo capture and editing using the iTouch.Jill will demonstrate panoramic photography using photosynth and then how to get thoseimages from her touch to her computer –even at a distance! iMovie (universal) iMovie lets you create and edit professional looking HD movies with transitions, music video right on your device. Graham Street is not able to attend and demonstrate this $4.99 App today. He will try to come in November. October 19th we will be working with video and pictures and members of the group may download Framed Lite ( free app ) if they like, and be able to work along with Shari on the picture portion of the demonstrations. Framed is a Fun app that offers so many amazing choices. Users will feel in control of the app after a few tries and be emailing their fun creations in no time! Press your finger down the image you want to save for two seconds. When the pop-upmenu will appears select “Save Image” to save the image to photos. Or choose “Copy” to putit into your clipboard and paste it into a document or email (be careful about copyright!)
  • 4. TLTC Tip of the Week:  Check out the 1080p HD video taken with the new iPhone 4S –be sure to view full screen! is not Siri but did you know your iPodTouch device has Voice controls? Press and hold the home button for a few seconds. You can also do this to activate voice control do this while itouch is locked. You can use it to make a FaceTime call, ask “what time is it?”, play a “song title”, play songs by a particular artist, play an album title, play more like this, pause music. The text flowing across the screen provides prompts for how to use this tool.
