  • 2. Harry Lee Kuan Yew; born 16September 1923 wasSingapore’s first PrimeMinisterHe was educated at TelokKurau Primary School, RafflesInstitution and RafflesCollege. After Raffles hewent on to read law atCambridge University
  • 3.  Goh Chok Tong is the Senior Minister of Singapore He was educated at Pasir Panjang Primary School, Raffles Institution and Raffles College. After Raffles he went on to study at NUS and Williams College
  • 4.  S. Jayakumar is currently a Senior Minister in the Cabinet. He previously served as Singapores Deputy Prime Minister Jayakumar received his secondary education at Raffles Institution, before going on to the University of Singapore. He furthered his education at Yale Law School where he received a Master of Law degree
  • 5.  K Shanmugam is member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law. Shanmugam was educated at Raffles Institution from 1972-77, before going on to study law at the National University of Singapore
  • 6.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Trade and Industry. Lim received his education in Raffles Institution and Cambridge University, before going on to complete a Master of Public Administration degree at Harvard University.
  • 7.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Transport. He received his education at the University of Adelaide, the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Prior to that he was a student and athlete at Raffles Institution.
  • 8.  Benjamin Sheares was the second President of Singapore. Sheares attended the Methodists Girls School, Raffles Intuition and in 1923, he enrolled into the King Edward VII College of Medicine Singapore to begin his medical training.
  • 9.  Yusuf Bin Ishak was Singapore’s first President. He received his primary education at Victoria Bridge School (i.e. Victoria School), and secondary education at Raffles Institution.
  • 10.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports. He was educated at Anglo- Chinese School and National Junior College. In 1980, he was awarded thePresidents Scholarship to study Medicine at the National University of Singapore.
  • 11.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence. He attended Anglo-Chinese School and National Junior College, before going on to medical school at the National University of Singapore and fellowship training in surgical oncology in the United States at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

He graduated with a degree in chemistry from Cambridge University in 1983. He received a graduate degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
  • 14.  Lee Hsien Long is the third and current Prime Minister of Singapore. Lee studied at Nanyang Primary School, received his secondary education at Catholic High School and subsequently studied at National Junior College. He studied mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge University. He subsequently obtained a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University
  • 15.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently a Cabinet Minister in the Prime Ministers Office and the Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress. Lim received his early education at Catholic High School and National Junior College. He was awarded a SAF Scholarship to study at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. He then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Management at Stanford University.
  • 16.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for Manpower. Gan was educated at Catholic High School and National Junior College in Singapore, and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
  • 17.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence. Teo was educated at Saint Michaels School and Saint Josephs Institution. He studied Electrical Engineering and Management Science at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.He continued with his studies at Imperial College London, obtaining a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Computing Science.
  • 18.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he has served as the countrys Minister for Foreign Affairs since 2004. Yeo received his primary and secondary education in Singapore at St Stephens School, St Patricks School and St Josephs Institution. Yeo studied engineering at Cambridge University as a Presidents Scholar and Singapore Armed.
  • 19.  A member of the governing Peoples Action Party (PAP), he is currently the countrys Minister for National Development. Mah was educated at St Michaels School (now known as St Josephs Institution Junior) and St Josephs Institution.[He then received the Presidents Scholarship and Colombo Plan Scholarship to study at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia.
