COLORADO SPRINGS — With just 1½ laps left in three laps around downtown Colorado Springs, the peloton finally caught the breakaway group Friday afternoon and from there Tyler Farrar broke out in the sprint to the finish line to win Stage 5 of the USA Pro Challenge.

The Team Garmin-Sharp rider, who also won Stage 1 on Monday, finished Friday's stage in 3 hours, 58 minutes, 27 seconds. During the stage, Farrar also reclaimed the green jersey as the top sprinter.

COLORADO SPRINGS — With just 1½ laps leftin three laps around downtown ColoradoSprings, the peloton finally caught thebreakaway group Friday afternoon and fromthere Tyler Farrar broke out in the sprint to thefinish line to win Stage 5 of the USA ProChallenge.The Team Garmin-Sharp rider, who also wonStage 1 on Monday, finished Fridays stage in 3hours, 58 minutes, 27 seconds. During thestage, Farrar also reclaimed the green jersey asthe top sprinter.

Van Garderen kept the yellow jerseybut remains tied in time with Garmin Sharps ChristianVande Velde at 21:32:45.Garmin-Sharps Tom Danielson remains atop the Kingof the Mountains standings as the top climber with 50points, three ahead of Jorge Castiblanco of Team EPM-UNE.
