  3. 3. Resources of the water Sea , river , underground water , well , lakes , Frozen water 97% of the water on the Earth is salt water, and only 3% is fresh water .
  4. 4. World water supply and distribution 22% of worldwide water use is industrial. Major industrial users include hydroelectric dams, thermoelectric power plants . 8% of worldwide water use is for household purposes. Recreational , Environmental , etc.
  5. 5. Water Pollution  Water pollution is one of the main concerns of the world today.  Sewage, sludge, garbage, and even toxic pollutants are all dumped into the water
  6. 6. water scarcity and conflict In future, even more water will be needed to produce food because the Earth's population is forecast to rise to 9 billion by 2050 . more than 1.2 billion, live in areas of physical water scarcity. To avoid a global water crisis, farmers will have to strive to increase productivity to meet growing demands for food .
