  • 1.  Because successful amusement parks across the globe attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and generate millions of dollars in revenue, starting an amusement park can be an lucrative business opportunity for an entrepreneur with substantial experience in the amusement park business. However, understanding how to start an amusement park starts by acquiring an in-depth knowledge of how planning, capital and project management must all work together to create a comprehensive business plan. The following steps will give you a basic outline of what you need to do to start an amusement park.
  • 2.  Concept / theme: regional amusement theme( which could be a tourist attraction)  Target: all age groups  Add On’s : hotels, stalls etc.  Amusements (rides,games,etc)  Pricing: 450/- to 750/-
  • 3.  Hire a firm that specializes in leisure business planning and have them draw up a feasibility study, a business plan, and a detailed design of my amusement park.  Present my feasibility study and business plan to investors and raise the capital i need to start an amusement park.  Put my team together.  Choose a location for my theme park(amusement park)  Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.  Buy insurance for my amusement park.  Construct my amusement park  Hire personnel.  Promote my amusement park in the media.  Open my amusement park
  • 4.  Overall consultancy to set-up and run Theme Parks successfully.  To work out total expenditure of the Project including Land Development, Civil Work, Electrical and Communication system, Equipment and other facilities selection and Installation.  Master Plan for the park.  Basic conceptual layout including layout of rides and all facilities.  Design of Entire Park after having made the spot studies regarding the available site, capacity reports of various games and rides, crowd control at park hours etc  Design and engineering of the essential utility services such as electrical power connection, water system, fire fighting, drainage, ticketing booths, toilets, food outlets etc.  Ill obtaining statutory permits required to set-up amusement park.
  • 5.  Checking and approval of detail drawings prepared by various contractors/vendors and also supervision of erection and commissioning.  Project report for the financial institutions  Selection, Ordering and Inspection of equipment  To manufacture and supply rides meeting established quality and safety norms  Civil Work, Installation work and setting up of the park – supervising operating procedure for the Theme Amusement Park.  Training of technical/operational staff for smooth and safe park operation  To give all backup support for managerial as well as technical/operational services as and when required  To prepare manpower plan and monitor recruitment and arrange training  Implementation of ISO: 9000 and ISO: 14001 standards.  Provide MIS computer software support.

  • 8.  Name: super pass park  Location: Between Rushikonda to IT parks.  Land: 40-60 initially acres and might expand in future.  Expansion strategy: based on income levels of ppl, demand, profits I will further expand my park.  Advantage: It connects madurwada, rushikonda, bheemilli upto go karting area so no of walk-in’s are more in number. My park can attract them well in all directions.  Competitiors: agrigold is planning to start up in yarada which is risky, very long travelling hours, and also a suicide spot which might back off customers.  Cost: 70c  Time : 18 months  Park map: I will provide a roadmap to the customers walking in by providing a hand guide at the entrance of my park or near ticket booth.  Park hours: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm in the weekends, 10:00am to 8:00 pm in the weekdays.  Admission price: weekdays 450/-, weekends 750/- (it includes all rides an games in the park) (pay-one-price concept.)  NOTE: food is not included in the ticket fare.  No of walk in’s per day: 60-100(estimation)  Break even: It will take nearly 43 years.
