There are several types of memory including RAM, which stands for Random Access Memory. As soon as you power up your computer, your RAM is put to work as it is needed to actively run programs on your computer. If you've ever tried to run multiple programs and notice that your computer is starting to lag behind, it could be because your RAM is filling up. From this point on, everything you do starts to slow you down.

From this pointon, everything you do starts to slow you down.
    • • Looking Under the Hood– In Windows 95, 98, or Me, XP, Vista and 7 you will see what processes are running on yourcomputer, the corresponding Windows Process ID (PID), and the number of threads thatare part of each process displayed on the Resources tab.
    • • Optimize RAM Tab– The Optimize RAM tab in RAMrocket offers two ways to recover RAM. Use the AutomaticRAM Release feature if you want to set the RAM Release to occur when your systemresources reach certain levels
    • • Options Tab– Manage startup settings, schedule a RAM release, and more from one screen
    • • History Tab– View the date and time of all of your recent RAM releases
