Causing Age (as of June): 4 years 2 months Birthday: April 18, 2008 I am unique and here are some of the reasons why... I love PINK, PURPLE, and RED. They say that when I am happy and excited, I can smile all day.  I like to sing, sing, and sing! 1, 2, 3, 4, Hi- 5!   • “I like doing art activities. It helps my fingers grow stronger!”Beatrice is always excited to do arts and crafts. She listens attentively and follows the instructions of the activities. Beatrice is able to exercise her finger muscles and at the sametime, create masterpieces of her own. 5
  • “I am not afraid.”Beatrice is drawing a silly face on her handprint monster to make it look funny! 6
  • “Painting My Binoculars”Beatrice made binoculars using two tissue rolls. She painted her binoculars red and yellow. 7
  • During a free paintingactivity, Beatrice paintedblue and purple flowers. 8
  • “Because I like to practice, I can now write my name: Beatrice” June October From fingerpainting and tracing her name, Beatrice now prints her name neatly without a copy guide. With more control, she can now hold markers, using her right hand, with the proper grasp. 9
  • During Individualized Instruction, Beatricefollows directions and finishes her work independently. Good job, Beatrice, for doing your work neatly!  Beatrice traces letters neatly, colors within a figure, and cuts along a straight line. 10

  • My ABCs Together with Michelle and Andrea, Beatrice learns more about her ABCs. She showed them how to spell, “B-E-A-H”. Beatrice is able to identify ALL uppercase letters and lowercase letters. She also demonstrates letter-sound correspondence of all 26 letters. Whenasked about words that start with a given letter, Beatrice can also identify some with confidence. 22

  • My Friends With her confidence. Beatriceexpresses herself well. She is able to verbalize her thoughts and ideas, as well as express how she feels. In school, Beatrice easily becamefriends with her classmates and since there are only three girls: Michelle,Beatrice and Andrea, they are always seen playing together. With herdeveloped Language Skills, Beatrice isusually heard sharing lots of stories with her best buddies,  24
  • Little Teacher BeatriceTogether with her Daddy Albert, little Teacher Beatrice led the class in singing some songs. She played her tambourine and counted “1, 2, 3 and…” to get ready for the song.  25
  • I have a body. When it comes to her Science Skills, Beatrice can identify her face andbody parts. Plus, she can identify the function of each part with confidence as well. During Nutrition Week, Beatriceprepared Cheese and Egg Sandwich.She placed sliced eggs for the eyes and squeezed cheese for the eyebrows, ears, nose, and mouth. 26

  • “I follow rules and routine in class.” Sad Face: I have feelings. With her confidence and eagerness to learn, Beatrice was able to adjust easily to the school setting. She knows and follows the rules like sitting down and listening to the teachers. 30

  • Beatrice and her classmates pretended to be chefs of theNursery Class Restaurant. Their customer ordered Mac and Cheese. Each child chef had their turn inpreparing the dish.   • “I am happy because I have friends.” Beatrice found new friends in her new home, the Nursery Class.  33

  • “I am now a big girl!” Snack Time When it comes to her Self-Help Skills, Beatrice exhibits her sense ofindependence. She prefers doing things on her own like packing away her bag, wearing her shoes, and fixing her things. During Snack Time, Beatrice readily gets her things, eats independentlyand stays in her place. Nonetheless, it is good that she knows how to ask for help from her teachers whenever she needs assistance. 36

  • Chicken Adobo a la Nursery Class The Nursery Class cooked their chicken adobo with Teacher Connie.With more control in manipulating a spoon, Beatrice scoops rice with sabaw.  38
  • Sinabawang Gulay a la Nursery ClassBeatrice and her classmates prepared malunggay for the Sinabawang Gulay Cooking Activity last Nutrition Week. She scooped the warm sabaw with vegetable slices. 39
