REGISTERING FOR WIKISPACES
• Go to http://www.wikispaces.com
• Click on ‘Create your own classroom wiki
today’

EDUCATIONAL WIKI
• Select a username, password and email
address
• Select ‘Private’
(free for
educators)

CREATE A NEW WIKI
• Create a memorable and easy-to-
spell name!
• Select ‘Protected’ (free)
• Your wiki is now ready to go

EDITING YOUR WIKI
• Click on ‘New page’ and give your page a
name e.g. ‘Songs’
• Type in an explanation or instruction
• Click ‘Save’ when you have finished

EDITING PAGES
• Click on ‘Edit’ and the following toolbar
pops up above the page
• Hover the cursor over the icon, and an
explanation pops up

ADDING FILES & DOCUMENTS
• Click on ‘Edit’, then select the picture icon
• Select the tab ‘Upload files’
• Browse for your picture or document and
follow the instructions

ADDING GOANIMATE, ETC
• Click on ‘Edit’, then select the blue screen
icon
• Select what you want to embed, e.g. ‘other
html’, paste code and save
