Stabile and Mobile<br />OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO ACTIVATE AN EXISTING SPACE<br />This requires the study of following visual aspects of the given space: <br />Scale and proportion<br />Quality of space in terms of Light and its changing pattern Material <br />Color <br />Texture<br />And these functional aspects:<br />Purpose or Function of the space<br />Human Movement around or Circulation pattern<br />Entry and Exit<br />Grouping around<br />

Stabile and Mobile<br />HOW DOES ONE DO IT?<br />By producing a piece of art or a sculpture which is purely abstract and helps express through appropriate placement of form or object the physical, functional, visual and psychological aspects of the space.<br />This piece of ART can be categorized into:<br />STABILES<br />MOBILES<br />COMBINATION OF STABILES and MOBILES<br />
  4. 4. Stabile and Mobile<br />STABILE: Not able or intended to be moved. <br /> Unchangeable, Firm, Stable, Dynamic, Static.<br />
  5. 5. Stabile and Mobile<br />MOBILE: Suspended in mid-air whose parts are set in motion by air currents. <br /> Changeable, Expressive, Uncertain Movement, Flexibility, Rotating, Twisting.<br />
