  • 2. The Quattrocento The quattrocento is the group of cultural and artistic events of 15th century in Italy. It contents the artistic styles of the late middle ages and the early renaissance. One of the quattrocento artists is Sandro Botticelli.
  • 3. The quattrocento paints His principal characteristics are the observation of the nature and the domain of the perspective.
  • 4. The quattrocento paints The technique that is more used is the mural. It makes up on special tables and sometimes in certain furniture. The artists use the tempera paints until the second half of century, when apears the oil paint.

  • 6. Introduccion Sandro Botticelli (Florence 1445 - Florence, May 17, 1510) was an Italian Renaissance painter. His family name was Mariano Filipepi Allessandro, but it was t is so called because he was the apprentice painter and craftsman of Botticelli.
  • 7. BIOGRAPHY He was born in a rented house in Borgo Ognissanti, Alessandro, the last of seven siblings, parents were already old.
