Subject code - Viewers will send picture in an email with a subject code you enter in subject code field as shown in the figure below

Show email text – You can check this option (field 1 in the figure) if you want to show the text along with picture sent by the viewer in the email
Use moderation - If you want the pictures sent to be approved by a moderator before they appear on your signage screens, check the option in field 2. You will then see a link Email Moderator.. as shown in the figure. From here you can approve pictures

Click on advanced properties button in properties tab. This will open the advanced properties window. From here you would need to configure the Send-a-picture component
Email text properties – Select the font style for the text which would appear in Send-a-picture component

Email account settings – Enter the email account settings where you want viewers to send the pictures
Mail server - Enter the POP3 incoming mail server of the email service provider.
Server port – Enter the incoming mail server port. Server port 995 is generally used for SSL mail servers and 110 for non-SSL ones.
Display for – Enter the duration for which you wish to display the pictures on screen

Test connection – After entering all the settings click on test connection button to validate the connection to the mail server. If the connection is not established, please verify the details entered
Please go to mail servers link to know the mail server addresses of commonly used email services
Make sure you have enabled the POP3 support in the email account entered

Default image – Select a default image from the images you have uploaded. This image would appear on your signage screen when there is no other image to show. For example, you can upload an image which shows the details where you want the viewers to send the emails

Default text – Like default image, the text you enter here would be shown on signage screen when there is no email to show. For example, Please send a picture at [email_address] with subject code Cafe Screen and the picture will be shown right here!
Display after – If you want the default image/text to be shown after some specific number of emails shown on the signage screen, you can do it from here
Email Moderator
Below is the image of how the email moderator page would look like
Select subject code – Emails would be filtered by the subject code given in the screen. Select the subject code from here to approve the emails
Attachment – Move the mouse over the image to view the thumbnail

View email – Click on view email envelop to view the email sent by the viewer of your signage screen
Approve - Click on approve button to show the picture on the signage screen
Disapprove – Click on disapprove to remove the picture from the queue
Play location with Send-a-picture
Now publish this screen and assign it to the location where your signage screen is placed
Considering the example mentioned in the one of the previous slides, if a viewer will send a picture at [email_address] with subject code as Cafe Screen, this picture would list in the email moderator. Once approved by the moderator the picture would appear on the signage screen
If you have not selected the use moderation option the picture would appear on the signage screen right away
Points to remember
We support jpg, jpeg, png and gif image formats only
Please make sure that the pictures are sent in the attachment
Please make sure that you do not run the same screen at more than one location
To provide technical stability we have not made Send-a-picture to run in preview. The images sent will not appear in preview
Images with names containing special characters might not be shown on the screen
