    • Six Sigma Black Belt (Operational)Participants receive a thorough exposure to the tools and methods that are necessary to leadDMAIC improvement projects in a Manufacturing environment. This 20 day program isdelivered in 4 modules of 5 days (typically one month between modules) to allowparticipants to apply what they have learned to a project within their own business under theguidance of one of our experienced Black Belts.Module 1: Foundation Module (Day 1-5: Start 09:00 hrs – Close 17:00 hrs)• Introduction to Six Sigma • Scatter Diagram • Introduction to Minitab• Structured Problem solving • Cause and effect diagram • Basic statistics• Seven Basic Tools • Histograms • DMAIC• Check Sheets • Flow charts • Customer Focus• Pareto diagram • Control charts • Project presentationsModule 2: Define/ Measure (Day 1-5: Start 09:00 hrs – Close 17:00 hrs)• DMAIC • Measurement System • Process Mapping• Development of process/ Analysis • Fault tree analysis Product measures • Control charts • Confidence Intervals• ANOVA • Process capability • Project work/ presentationsModule 3: Analyze / Improve (Day 1-5: Start 09:00 hrs – Close 17:00 hrs)• DMAIC • Confidence Interval • Improve Phase strategies• Linear Regression • FMEA • Screening experiments• Polynomial Regression • Hypothesis testing • Project work/ presentationsModule 4: Analyze / Improve / Control (Day 1-5: Start 09:00hrs – Close 17:00 hrs)• DMAIC • Hypothesis testing • Control Charts• Linear & Polynomial • FMEA • Control phase strategies Regression • Mistake proofing• Robust design using RSM • Robust tolerance analysis • Project work/ presentationsProject Based TrainingCandidates will be expected to bring projects to the training. The projects will be worked onbetween the training modules, allowing an opportunity to apply the learning and updatesgiven at the training. Successful project completion will form part of the certificationprocess. Support is given to the candidates during the project work as required.Black Belt Certification:The process of certification involves 1. Attendance at 20 day training programme 2. Demonstrated understanding through testing (exam) 3. Successful completion of a DMAIC based process/ product improvement project.Course Fees: Duration: 20 days
