New York I love New York• New Yorks capital state is Albany• New York was made a state July 26, 1788 it was the 11th of the original 13 colonies• New Yorks state bird is the Blue Bird• New Yorks state tree is the sugar maple• New York has a song written after it called I LOVE NEW YORK it was written and composed by Steve Karmen

Oregon Things Look Different Here• Capital City: Salem• Was made a state in Feb. 14, 1859• Oregons state flag has different pictures on both side one side has a heart shaped shield with an eagle on top, surrounded by thirty-three stars. ( 33 star because that’s how many states where the united states in 1859) and the other side of the flag has a beaver.• The state flower is the Oregon Grape• Oregons nickname was “Beaver State”

These figures represent more than any other county in the country.• In 1900 land acquisition for Wisconsins first state park began. The park became Interstate State Park located in St. Croix Falls.
