Horses, chickens, sheep, pigs, and cows abound at the University of Connecticut farm on Horsebarn Hill. Tucked away on the outskirts of campus, the farm houses a number of species used for a vast array of both research and educational purposes. Visitors are welcome in most barns, but the pigs and poultry are handled only by animal science students and faculty members.
