What are the fun, secluded, and cheap places to go in beijing
1. What are the Fun, Secluded, and Cheap
Places to Go in Beijing?
There really are fun, secluded, and cheap places to go in Beijing, I have seen them
myself!
1. Jiuxianqiao Electronics plant and 798. Although 798 is not so little known, it is still
worth seeing.
2. Yuandadu Ruins Park. This park is a terrific green-belt made possible through the
labors of the Beijing government covering many kilometers. When the warmth of spring
opens the flowers, sightseers flock to this park.
2. 3. Wudaokou, the center of the universe. You will see what I mean once you go
there(There is a shopping center at Wu Dao Kou called U-center LOL)
4. In the vast area between Second and Third Ring roads lies the scenic embassy district.
It is a little known area and virtually uninhabited. The embassy district is one of Beijing’s
must- see locations.
3. 5. From Xinjiekou stretching eastward all the way to Dong Si Shi Tiao lies Beijing’s alley
district.
6. The Beijing Botanical Garden, very few people know about it, but it will definitely
provide an enjoyable experience.
4. 7. The old administrative district of Baishiqiao Bridge, Ganjiakou, and Muxidi.
8. The plaza between Gulou and Zhonglou.
9. The group of buildings belonging to Soho, the most well designed group of buildings
in Beijing.
5. 10. The entire Tsinghua University campus, but the old campus in particular, the
Tsinghua University Library is one of Beijings most elegant structures. Peking
University’s Weiming (or “Nameless”) Lake is another place you should consider
visiting.
11. Dongjiaominxiang, this is the only remaining building from the old Republic of China
(1912-1949).
6. 12. The best places for tea are the Laijinyuxuan inside of the Forbidden City and the
suburban Jietai Temple. Tanzhe Temple and Mengyangyuan in the Fragrance Hills are
both ideal locations for spending a night in the mountains.
13. The old Shijingshan steel mill district, an ideal site for photography enthusiasts.
7. 14. I personally really like the Shoudu (Capital) Museum and the Huangcheng Museum.
Shijitan’s Art Museum occasionally displays surprisingly intriguing exhibits.
