truly undergoing a revolution. But ever wondered
that direction of the bathroom can impact the
aura of your home? Well, its true. Thus, in order to
ensure continued inflow of happiness, here are
few points from Vastu Evam Jyothish, a monthly
magazine by Diamond Comics (P) Ltd.
• Commode should be mounted in bathroom in such a way that face of user
person is in north or south direction.
• Commode facility should be placed southward in bathroom.
• Wash Basin should be mounted in eastern or northern side of bathroom.
• Door of Bathroom should be in east direction.
• Place Shower, tap etc. in north east part of bathroom.
• Never get toilet and bathroom constructed at north east angle.
• If you are planning an attached bathroom or a bathroom beside bedroom
(only in such cases when there is a lack of place or there is no option
available besides it), get bathroom constructed in east or north direction of
bedroom.
• Bathroom can also be built in north-east corner of house, but keep in mind
that it should be outside of house.
• Boiler should be mounted in south-east corner.
• South-East corner is also appropriate for bathroom. Note that it should not be
attached with house or its boundary.
• Bathroom can touch the south or west wall. It should not be in touch with the
wall of main building.
• South west corner is appropriate for toilet.
• Do not get commode mounted in north east area.
• There is a trend to own attached latrine-bathroom in cities. Although it is not
mentioned anywhere in vaastu shastra, dungeon can be made in north east
and toilet can be made on the place situated in between southern central and
south west direction.
Places to avoid while constructing a bathroom
• Do not construct bathroom in front of the main entrance of house.
• Do not get bathroom made over kitchen.
• Do not get bathroom made over chapel.
• Bedroom should not be in touch with bathroom.
• Toilet can be built up in north west angle, south east angle, south west
or west side.
