  • 1. The Negative Effects of Pollution I believe the kinds of pollution that I will talk about will abuse the planet Earthand for the existing mankind left on Earth. Water pollution and littering, specificallylittering water bottles, is two very similar kinds of pollution that sabotages the nextgeneration of people. Water pollution is said to be one of Earth’s issues. To simply explain whatpollution is, it is harmful contaminants that reach the given ecosystem for example in thewater or land. Pesticides, chemical fertilizers, detergents either the bottle or the liquiditself are some of these contaminants. Noise pollution that usually happens on water, andjust as harmful as physical pollution. Natural disasters that happen in the water andsounds from ships interfere with migration, communication between animals andreproducing patterns such as in whales and dolphins. Littering is very common among the US. Water bottles seemed to be littered themost. Plastic bottles and the other pollutants such as plastic bags take a very long time torot or disintegrate. Recycling plastic bottles help, but one out of six plastic bottles end upin the recycling bin. Plus, recycling a bottle saves energy to power a sixty watt bulb forsix hours (straight) The Core Democratic Value that supports my belief is the Common Goodbecause it helps everyone and for the good of all. I believe that pollution will hurt theplanet in the water and on land, which is called littering.
